Renaissance meets Darwin

My starting points here were the sculptures of Italian artists during the Renaissance, like Giambologna, Michelangelo and Bernini. And link them to my previous research of Gaia and Pythia.

And: the creation of the world (Darwin): “On the origin of species”.

Creation of the world and the start of life

This painting is about the creation of the world, the start of it all. Based also on the Edda, the Nordic mythology.

Shapes are beginning to form, and in some corners, there’s what you can call “first evidence of possible life”.
