As an artist, you create your own problems. That’s your job. Take risks, step out of your comfort zone! I am used to make large paintings. But now I force myself to leave the path I know so well.

And make really small oilpaintings. New problems to conquer, because I want these small paintings to have the same impact, as the large paintings have. New problems, new solutions. New paintings.
